If you use Mobile Ordering or bookings with deposits, pre-auths, or pre-orders, you will need to connect to one of our integrated online payment providers. These providers allow businesses to securely collect payments remotely, enabling customers to pay online when making bookings or placing orders.
This article gives you an overview of your options for taking online payments.
PayPal
PayPal is a widely recognised digital payment platform that allows customers to pay using their PayPal account, debit card, or credit card.
Using PayPal enables you to securely collect payments for mobile orders, booking deposits, booking pre-auths, and pre-orders.
Transaction fees:
- 1% + 10p per transaction
- 3.5% for AMEX transactions

Stripe
Stripe enables customers to make payments quickly using credit or debit cards through a secure online checkout. Using Stripe enables you to take payments for mobile ordering, booking deposits, and pre-orders. Booking pre-auths are not supported with Stripe.
Stripe is very quick to set up and start taking payments with, but its transaction fees are higher than those of our other payment partners.
Transaction fees:
- 1.9% + 20p per transaction

Teya Online
Teya Online Payments allows businesses to process secure online transactions and manage them alongside their other Teya payments, helping keep payment activity centralised in one place.
To use Teya online, you will need to use Teya terminals for your in-venue EPOS transactions. Online transactions are charged at 0.2% above your in venue transactions, resulting in a very competitive rate.
Transaction fees:
- 0.2% above your agreed terminal rates
