Sending messages to other EPOS devices

You can send messages to other EPOS devices from the messages screen of any EPOS iPad.

To send a message press the message icon in the top right corner of the screen.

You will be presented with a pop up to type your message and to select which devices to send to it.

You can send messages to:

• All iPads
• iPads that have been allocated to the 'bar' group
• iPads that have been allocated to the 'kitchen' group
• iPads that have been allocated to the 'roaming' group

Make sure you have allocated your devices to the correct groups so the messages are displayed on the right devices.

Once you have typed your message and selected the devices to send it to, press the send button in the bottom right of the screen.

You will see the message display on any iPads you have selected to send it to. Any user can acknowledge the message by clicking on the tick.

Once the message has been acknowledged it will display greyed out with a record of who acknowledged it and when.
