As a leave approver, you can edit parts of a requested, approved or declined leave request. This may be necessary if staff members miscalculate the number of hours they need to request.
To view leave requests, go into your back office and select Staff & Roles > Leave from the left hand navigation.
Click the blue Leave requests button.
If you haven’t yet responded to the leave request you want to edit, it’ll be under the Requested leave tab. If you’ve already approved or declined the leave request, click the appropriate tab to find it. Leave requests are shown in order of leave start date.
Find the leave request you want to edit and click the blue Edit button at the end of the row.
The request details will pop up. You can change the leave type using the dropdown menu, and edit the leave notes.
Note: You can’t edit the dates or the duration of the leave request. If the staff member has requested the wrong dates, they will need to submit a new leave request.
You can also toggle the hours/times field and edit the corresponding fields. This is useful if staff only need a half-day off, for example.
