Receiving EPOS booking alerts

You can configure alerts on your EPOS for booking requests, confirmations & cancellations. This can be useful if you want to review and accept booking requests on the day, to keep your front of house team informed of any new bookings or to make use of tables freed up by last minute booking cancellations.


When a new booking notification comes in, a message will display at the top of the EPOS to inform you of the new notification.


Blue notifications indicate booking requests

Green notifications indicate confirmed bookings

Red notifications indicate cancelled bookings





For Booking requests & booking confirmations, clicking on the message notification, will take you directly to the booking.


Note: Clicking on the black cross in the corner of the notification will dismiss the booking message.


For a booking request, you can then accept or decline the booking, assign to a table and edit the request. 



For a booking confirmation, you can view the booking and open a tab when the guests arrive.



For booking cancellations, the banner will inform you of the booking name, date and time, and table that will now be free for that booking slot.



If you miss the notification banner, you can see historic booking notifications on the messages tab on the bottom navigation bar of the EPOS.
