You can configure alerts on your EPOS for new booking requests, or new confirmed bookings. This can be useful if you want to review and accept booking requests on the day, or just to keep your front of house team informed of any new bookings.
When a new booking notification comes in, a message will display at the top of the EPOS to inform you of the new notification.
Blue notifications indicate booking requests
Green notifications indicate confirmed bookings
Click on the message notification, which will take you directly to the booking request or confirmation.
Note: Clicking on the black cross in the corner of the notification will dismiss the booking message.
For a booking request, you can then accept or decline the booking, assign to a table and edit the request.
For a booking confirmation, you can view the booking and open a tab when the guests arrive.
If you miss the notification banner, you can see historic booking notifications on the messages tab on the bottom navigation bar of the EPOS.
