Saved campaigns

When you save a campaign it will appear in the Saved campaigns section underneath the filter options. The benefits of saving campaigns are:

  • You will have a record of the campaigns you have run and when you ran them
  • Exports of the campaign to Mailchimp will be tagged with the campaign name so you can target them with a specific mail shot relevant to the campaign
  • You can copy a campaign to re-use the filters for a new campaign
  • Actions performed against the campaign will be tracked by the system so that in the future you will be able to report on how successful your campaigns have been at driving visits and spend (this feature is planned for a future release, but the actions are tracked now)

Note: Campaigns will be saved for you automatically if you trigger certain actions without saving, such as exporting to Mailchimp, sending an SMS message, or adding members to a group. You can edit the names of these campaigns to better reflect who the campaign was targeting.

In the Saved campaigns section you can see all of the campaigns you have saved (and any that have been saved automatically) along with the date each campaign was created. Clicking on the magnifying glass to the right of a saved campaign will:

  • Populate the filters section with the filters used for the campaign
  • Populate the filter results section with the members & contacts who are part of the campaign

Note: The campaign members & contacts are those who were returned by the campaign filters at the time the campaign was created, which may not be the same as those that would be returned by the same filters at a later date. If you want to run the filters to return a new set of members you can copy the campaign.
