By default, holiday & sick leave will be managed through the leave module. However if you are not using leave tracking or would still like the ability to be able to add, ad hoc holiday & sick shifts to the rota, you can enable this in the back office.
Note: Adding holiday & sick shifts directly to the rota will not update any leave balances.
To enable Ad hoc holiday & sick shifts, go into the back office & select Setup > Rotas.
Locate the setting Enable ad hoc holiday and sick shifts.
Click the toggle to on for the shifts you require to be added to the rota directly.
Click the blue Save button at the bottom of the screen. You will now be able to add holiday/sick shifts directly to the rota.
