You can sell gift cards via your website by adding the gift card widget script to your site, or by adding a link to the gift card widget url.
Before enabling gift cards to be sold via your website, you will need to Enable & configure gift cards.
From the left hand navigation, click Setup > Gift cards.
Click Manage gift card widget from the tabs at the top of the screen, then toggle Enable gift card widget to on.
You will now need to connect with your chosen payment provider to be able to take online payments. If you haven't already done this, you will be taken through the account creation process.
The gift card widget script & gift card url will display underneath your payment provider. You or your web developer can add this to your website.
Alternativley, you can add a link from your website to the gift card URL.
You can now configure your Form details, that will be displayed to your customer.
When entering Gift card amounts, you can choose to copy these from your main gift card setup or you can enter different amounts.
Field configuration
In the Field configuration you can customise your gift card widget further by changing the labels, descriptions & placeholders.
- Label - The label displayed next to the input field
- Description - A description of the field
- Placeholder - Text displayed within the input field
Click the blue Save button, from the bottom right of the screen to save your changes.
Gift cards sold online via your website, can be redeemed in the same way as in-venue purchases. They will also display on the gift card report
