The real-time wage report shows your current wages as a percentage of sales and your sales per staff hour at any point during the trading day. The report also shows you your planned figures based on your rota, and how your live figures compare to these. The report can also be accessedon the back office if you want to check how your venue is doing when you are not on site.
To access the Real-time wage report from EPOS, log into your EPOS & click Admin from the bottom of the screen.
From the Admin screen, click the green Real-time wages button on the right hand side.
The Real-time wage report will display over the Admin screen.
You will be able to see:
Wages/Sales %
Wages/Sales % is a key metric used to track how your staff levels (wage bill) compares to the sales you are achieving.
- Actual labour as a % of sales
- Forecasted labour as a % of sales
- The difference between actual & forecasted as a %
Sales per staff hour
Sales per staff hour strips out the impact of varying staff pay and instead looks at how much each staff member is contributing to sales on average. Knowing what is a good level of sales per staff hour can help with optimising your rota.
