Bulk & future price changes on products

Bulk price changes can be useful for updating supplier cost prices and putting through general sales price increases that affect a lot of your products. With a bulk price change you can:

  • Quickly change the price on a large number of products at the same time
  • Save a set of price changes for later, and come back to make them live when you need to

To perform a bulk price change on your products go into your back office & select Products > Bulk price changes from the left hand navigation.

Click the + Create a new bulk price change button.

Give the bulk price change a name that will help you to identify what it relates to (e.g. April price rise, supplier price increase, or draught beer increases). Then press the blue tick.

Note: You can edit the name of your draft later on if required.

You will see a list of all of your products along with input fields to change any of the prices related to each product. The current price of the product is displayed above each field.

You can also see the current gross profit to the right of each sale price, and this will update to the new gross profit if you change the sale or cost price.

If you have a long list of products, you can use the Search function in the top right corner, to search for a specific product.

When you have made your price changes, you can either Save or Submit your draft:

  • Save - Save your draft if you haven't finished your price changes, or if the price changes are not yet due to take affect. You can come back to your draft later to review, edit and submit it.
  • Submit - If you are ready to make the prices live now, you can submit your draft, which will update your products and sync the changes with your EPOS

Note: Bulk price changes won't automatically push changes down to individual sites from a central dashboard. These changes would still need to be pushed to sites individually.

When you Submit, you will be prompted to confirm the synchronisation from the Back office to the EPOS. Click the green Save & sync button.

Note: When you submit your price changes, you will no longer be able to edit these.

When submitted, only the products that have had a price change will display to the right of the screen.

If you have a list of bulk price changes, you are able to view previous bulk price changes.
