If you have deleted a product, or removed it from any EPOS categories, you will no longer be able to see it in the main products section of the back office. If you need to restore these products, you can do so in the Uncategorised and Recently Deleted sections.
You can also delete any uncategorised products that you don't stock any more to avoid these appearing on stocktakes and in reports.
Note: If you delete an EPOS category, any products in that category that aren't in any other categories will be
To view Uncategorised products, go into your back office & select Products > Uncategorised from the left hand navigation.
The tabs at the top of the screen, will show 3 different sections:
- Uncategorised products
- Recently deleted (products)
- Recently deleted (categories)
Restoring a product or category
Products & categories can be restored by clicking the blue Restore button at the end of the product row.
The Restore modal will display for you to select the category the product should be restored to. By default this will pre-populate with the category the product was originally assigned to.
The EPOS category can be changed by clicking the dropdown & selecting the new category, or alternatively typing the category name.
Click the blue Done button. The product will be removed from the Uncategorised products list & will be restored to the chosen category.
Deleting an uncategorised product
To delete an uncategorised product, click the red bin icon at the end of the product row.
The delete product modal will display, click the red Yes button to confirm.
The deleted product, will now display in the Deleted products section.
