This article shows you how to link a purchase to a member by scanning the member's QR code (or RFID card) on the pay screen on the Mini EPOS.
Linking a purchase to a loyalty member will:
- Enable you to apply any promotions the member is eligible for
- Accrue loyalty points against the member if you run a loyalty points scheme
- Track the purchase against that member for reporting purposes
- Enable you to apply any credit a member has on their account
To scan a member's pass, press the scan icon in the top left of the PAY screen (if you don't see the scan icon make sure you have enabled QR code scanning).
Then scan the member's QR code.
Note: if you use RFID cards for your loyalty scheme, press the blue Scan Member Card button, and then tap the RFID card on the top of the phone.
You will be presented with the below screen showing any member promotions that have been applied to the order. The amount due will update to reflect the promotions.
Click the green Apply button, to apply the promotions and link the transaction to the member.
After applying the promotions you can pay the remaining balance as usual.
