Creating a booking from the table plan

This article will cover how to create a booking from the table plan.

You can also create a booking from the EPOS and from the back office.

To add a new booking, open your table plan from the bottom navigation & click Plan.

Switch the Show bookings toggle to on, so you can see which tables have current or upcoming bookings.

Click on the table you would like to add a booking for and select View bookings

You can scroll down the daily planner for that table to check for any other bookings.

To create a new booking, you can either click the white plus button in the top right, or you can press and hold on the planner against the time the booking will start, which will bring up the booking form with your selected start time set.

If you start by entering the customers name into the name field, any customers with details stored (previous guests or loyalty members) will be returned in a list for you to choose from. This will enter the name, email & phone number information for the customer.

Note: If the customer is a member of your loyalty scheme, this will also link the booking to the loyalty member, meaning they will earn points and trigger any applicable loyalty promotions on the tab opened for the booking.

Alternatively, enter the guests email address in the email field, then press the magnifying glass button to see if their details are stored from a previous booking.

Once you have added all of the details for your booking, press the green Add button in the bottom right corner of the booking form to add your booking to the table.

Your new booking will now appear on the table plan, in an orange outline to indicate this is an upcoming booking.

When the booking arrives you can open a tab for it, either from the table plan or the EPOS screen.
