Putting through a miscellaneous (MISC) sale

You can put through a miscellaneous (MISC) sale on the EPOS, if you need to put through an item that isn't set up on the back office.

Note: MISC is only recommended to be used as a back up option until the product can be added on the back office, or for items sold as a one off. MISC items won't deduct from stock.

You can put through a MISC item by pressing MORE > MISC from the EPOS screen.

You will be presented with a text box to enter the description of the item.

The tax rate for a MISC item will be set to your default tax rate, but can be amended if needed.

You will need to enter a sale price.

You will need to select a category for the sale (drinks, food, or other).

Then press the + button to add the MISC item to the current order.
