This article explains how to record tips by pressing the 'TIP' button on the PAY screen.
You can also record tips by using the 'convert to tip' button when a payment is put through that is more than the amount needed to pay for an order.
To record a tip using the tip button, first select a payment type, then press the tip button.
Enter the amount for the tip and press OK.
You will see the tip added to the order on the right and the total will be updated to include it.
You can then continue to process the transaction as normal.
You can see the total of tips put through the system on the Z report for the day and can see a breakdown of all tips on the tips & service charge report.
