Adding or removing a price level

You can have multiple price levels if your pricing changes at different times of day, such as for happy hours. By default the system has two price levels:

  • Base - your standard pricing
  • Happy hour - pricing for when you switch to the happy hour price level

To add a new price level, from back office dashboard, go to 'Set up' > 'EPOS' from the left hand navigation.

Select the 'Price levels' tab. 

To add a price level, click on the '+ Add a price level' button then type the name and description of the price level and press the '+' button.

You will see the price level has been added.

To remove a price level just press the delete icon to the right hand side of the price level.

Note: If you delete a price level you will lose all of the prices that have been set against products for that price level.

The Price Level Scheduling section just below the Price Level list gives the possibility to set the time and day ranges the price levels are automatically activated.
Any currently unused time schedules can be made inactive or deleted.

When you have added a new price level you will be able to set it for any product in the 'Measures & Prices' section on the 'Details' tab.
