Product options & modifiers

Some products that you sell will have options that the customer can select, such as how they would like a steak cooking, or what toppings they would like on their pizza.

These can be set by creating sets of options (e.g. cooking options, or pizza toppings), which can then be assigned to a product on the options tab.

If you want to quickly add options to a single product, and the options won't impact price or stock, you can may want to do this using quick modifiers.

If you just need to add a fixed set of mixers to all of your spirits, you can do this using the default Mixers category.

For anything else, you can use product options.

There are up to 3 steps involved in setting up your product options.

1. If you want the options to impact the price of the main product, or adjust stock you will need to ensure each option is set up as a product before you can create your option sets. If the options don't exist on your menu already, see creating products for options.

2. After ensuring you have products set up for each of your options (or if you don't need your options to adjust pricing or stock) you can set up your option sets. See Creating option sets.

3. Link your option sets to the products that you want to display those options for. See Linking products to option sets
