If you're selling alcohol or age-restricted products, you can record when you check ID checks or refuse service. This can be useful if you are audited, or need to investigate an incident.
ID checks can be recorded on both the EPOS and the Mini EPOS and then viewed as a report in the back office.
To record an ID check on the EPOS, click the white More button, under the basket. To the left of the screen you will be able to record an ID check as:
- ID check ok
- ID check fail
- Drink refused
When recorded, a Success prompt will display. Click the Ok button. You can then clear the product from the basket and continue using the EPOS as normal.
