You can specify if users need to enter notes when they cash up. You can set notes to always be required, be required if there is a difference, or only be required if the difference is over a given amount. Users will be prompted for the notes on submission of the cash up.
To turn on the setting for Prompt for cash up notes, go into your back office & select Setup > EPOS.
Click on the Other settings tab.
Locate the setting Prompt for cash up notes.
From the dropdown, select one of the following options:
- Always - Users will need to enter notes after every cash up
- Never - Users will never need to enter notes
- If there is any difference - Users will need to enter notes if there is a difference on the cash up
- If difference is outside of threshold - Users will need to enter notes if the difference is outside the threshold set
When choosing the option If difference is outside of threshold, you will need to enter a value into the Cash up notes threshold field.
Click the blue Save button, from the bottom of the screen.
