When loyalty members have the required number of points under a loyalty scheme, they can choose to redeem these against purchases by paying for part, or all, of an order with points. When paying with points, each point counts as 1p.
To pay for part, or all of a member transaction open up the Member tab & click the green Pay button from the bottom of the Mini.
If your member has enough points to use, these will be displayed at the top of the screen & the value to redeem will be displayed in a green button at the bottom of EPOS Mini. Click Redeem xxx points.
If any further payments are required to complete the transaction, this will be displayed at the top of the screen. Pay for the remainder of the items in the usual way.
When the transaction has been completed, you will be taken back to the Member tab, where you can view the payments made & items within the transaction.
Note: If auto-close paid tabs is enabled, your Member tab will close automatically.
You can now close the tab.
If you refund a transaction that was paid fully or partially with points, the relevant points will be added back to the members wallet.
If the member uses an Apple iPhone, they will see their new points balance on their wallet pass and will receive a push notification (if enabled) notifying them of their new points balance.
