Emailing a receipt from the EPOS

You can email a receipt from the EPOS for any transaction since the last end of day was run. If you want to email a receipt for a previous day see emailing a receipt from the back office.


On the EPOS you can email a receipt from the Summary screen, order history or the print receipt prompt.


Emailing a receipt from the Summary screen

If you want to email a receipt for a tab on the summary screen you can do so by pressing and holding the PRINT button, then selecting 'Email Receipt'.

Type the email address you want to send the receipt to and hit OK.

You will see a message to say the email has been sent.


Note: the email being sent is no guarantee of delivery, please check the spelling of the email address carefully.

Emailing a receipt from order history


If the tab is not on the summary screen as it has already been settled or it was an instant pay transaction, you can search for it by selecting HISTORY from the MORE button on the EPOS screen.

Locate the transaction you would like to email a receipt for, using the time, amount, and / or user.

Then press the @ symbol underneath the transaction details.

Type the email address you want to send the receipt to and hit OK.

You will see a message to say the email has been sent.

Emailing a receipt from the Print Receipt prompt


If you have receipt printing set to prompt for receipts you will have an EMAIL RECEIPT button on the prompt that comes up after each transaction.

Pressing this will display the email address field for you to enter the email to send the receipt to.
