Before you can use Face login, you will need to add photos of your users to their profile on the EPOS. This article explains how to do this as an admin user.
Existing users can also add or update their own photos from their profile.
To add a photo for a user, go onto your EPOS and click Admin from the bottom navigation.
On the Admin screen, click the orange Users button.
You will see a list of all of your users. Click on the user you would like to add a photo for.
This will bring up the user's profile. Click the blue Camera icon in the top left of the modal.
The camera will open for you to take a photo of the user using the front facing iPad camera. After taking the photo, click the Use photo button in the bottom right of the photo.
Note: Ensure you take a clear photo in reasonable lighting.
You will see a Face registered message and the user photo will display in the top left corner of the User management screen. Click Ok.
Click the green Save button to save your changes.
Lastly, click the green Ok button to return to the Admin screen.
The user will now be able to login on the EPOS with Face recognition.
