The Recipe look up report enables you to see which recipes a given product is used in. This can be useful for looking into stock variances, or seeing which recipes you need to update if you substitute the product for an alternative.
To use the recipe look up report, go to Reporting > Recipe look up from your back office dashboard.
Start typing the name of the product you would like to look up, then select it from the results.
You will see a list of products with recipes that the selected product is an ingredient in, along with:
- Stock usage - The amount of stock of the ingredient used in the recipe
- Cost price - The cost price of the stock of the ingredient used in the recipe
If you would like to edit any of the returned products, press the EDIT icon next to the desired result.
You can also see which recipes a product is used in on the right hand side of the product stock tab.
