Configuring member fields

You can configure the create member forms on the back office and EPOS to align with the data you like to collect on your members. You can decide which fields to show or hide, and which should be required or optional.


Note: You can also configure the fields displayed on your website member sign form, which can be different to those you can add on the EPOS and back office.


To configure the fields you would like to collect on your members, go into your back office & select Setup > Loyalty.



Click the Member fields tab, from the top of the screen.



For each field you can can configure whether you would like to show the field and whether it is required or optional.


Toggle each field to On/Off as required.


Note: Name is the only field that always has be shown and required.




Marketing consent


If you would like to explicitly collect marketing consent from your loyalty members, you can show the marketing consent checkbox and decide whether it is optional, or mandatory to consent to marketing in order to become a member.


If you do not explicitly collect marketing consent, you can hide the marketing consent checkbox and decide whether to assume marketing consent (if you are covered by your privacy policy and loyalty scheme terms) or to not assume consent (in which case all members will be signed up with consent to marketing as no).





Click the blue Save button, from the bottom of the screen to save your changes.


Note: Remember to configure your website member form separately if you use one.
